FAQs
Every week
IV hydration therapy every week would be amazing for your skin, overall health, and joints. More than three times a week is not recommended by most IV therapy clinics due to the increased vitamin intake you receive compared to oral vitamins. If you know you have a severe vitamin deficiency, weekly infusions could really help.
Every other week
This is probably the ideal time period for most people. The fluids received during IV therapy last a few hours, but the vitamins can last days to weeks in your body. Every other week allows your body to get the complete recommendation of vitamins. For those with moderate vitamin deficiencies, infusions every two weeks can really help get them back on their feet.
Once a month
Once a month is a good goal for most people. The day you might get your nails or hair done, you can also get your IV vitamin therapy and feel completely pampered and ready to go. If you are deficient in any vitamins after a week or more of not eating the best, a monthly IV vitamin drip can help you ‘reset.’ Even people with only mild vitamin deficiencies, which is nearly everyone, can benefit from monthly infusions of vitamins and hydrating fluids.
IV hydration is generally considered safe and effective. However, it can cause side effects. Side effects are usually limited to local irritation and swelling at the insertion site. You may experience sensations of heat or flushing with certain vitamins, such as magnesium. The most common side effects of IV vitamin therapy include headache, nausea, vomiting, and/or dizziness. These side effects occur when the solution enters your bloodstream too quickly.
